The 50th Anniversary of ‘Jaws’ Brings a Wave of Brand Collabs and Collectibles

In 1975, Steven Spielberg gifted movie-goers the ultimate summer blockbuster. Fifty years and four films later, Jaws is nothing short of a cult classic.

To celebrate half a century since the first film’s release, an assortment of big-name brands are partnering on official fashion, toys, merch and collectibles. Along with this limited-edition lineup, all four movies in the franchise — Jaws (1975), Jaws 2 (1978), Jaws 3 (1983) and Jaws: The Revenge (1987) — got their streaming debut on Peacock. Plus, NBC is airing a three-hour 50th Anniversary Special on Friday, June 20, including a screening of the original film kicked off with an introduction from Spielberg himself.

While NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Association) has previously released a Matt Hooper action figure, this version was specifically made to commemorate the film’s 50th anniversary.
