The long-awaited Marni x Hoka sneaker collaboration debuts in stores and online on April 4 — and fashion fans can see the chunky Bondi B3LS kicks in action in new campaign imagery released by the Italian luxury house.
Shot by photographer and artist Gabriele Rosati, the artful imagery showcases the playful sneakers “into a visual statement through bold compositions and fluid motion,” per a statement. Available starting tomorrow online for $395 at hoka.com, Marni’s website and other retailers, the Hollywood-loved sneakers get a maximalist makeover by Marni, “a reflection of the shared spirit of creativity and functionality that defines both brands,” notes a release.

Envisioned in Poinciana (red), Tourmaline (blue), Straw (beige) and Bracken (charcoal), the sneakers’ usual mesh and knit upper is replaced with “subtly rubberized” puffy polyester for maximum comfort, while Hoka’s embroidered bird logo is moved from the shoe’s side to the back of the heel. The silhouette is finished with cushioned insoles, a “highly responsive” rubber sole and a Marni-labeled heel tab. They’ll come with three pairs of laces: a flat style, a rope tone-on-tone set and a wide multi-colored pair.
The Marni x Hoka shoe comes on the heels of the footwear label’s collaborations with Reformation, Free People and high-performance running brand Satisfy. Hoka has been spotted in the wild on stars including Olivia Wilde, Reese Witherspoon, Camila Cabello, Kylie Jenner, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Harry Styles and Blake Lively. Rihanna’s makeup artist, Priscilla Ono, also swears by Hokas for long days on set.
“Collaborating with Hoka has been exhilarating — an exchange of energy where their technical mastery met Marni’s instinct for shape, color, and emotion. Together, we’ve created a bold, totemic design — sculpted a shoe that is a fearless expression of movement, volume, and identity,” explains Marni creative director Francesco Risso in a release.
Adds Thomas Cykana, Senior Director of Global Collaborations and Partnerships at Hoka, “the partnership between Hoka and Marni is rooted in celebrating the natural intersection of running and fashion. Both brands value bold optimism, irreverent color, and witty playfulness in a visionary mannerIn that spirit, Hoka is proud to bring a dramatically exaggerated and maximalist expression of the Bondi B3LS to life as an embodiment of that shared vision.”
Marni was recently worn to the Oscars by model Anok Yai, and the label also dressed Nicki Minaj, Charlie XCX and starry couple Rita Ora and taika Waititi for the 2024 Met Gala.
